Gah! This Cousiac Manor engagement session is stunning. The Cousiac Manor is in New Kent, Virginia, which sits between Williamsburg and Richmond. The grounds are breathtaking. It has a beautiful barn that overlooks the water and houses weddings and other events. There are trees, bean fields, and silos off in the distance. This location was perfect for Ryan and Dylyn’s session.
I drove up to meet Ryan and Dylyn for their one-year anniversary session this past Thursday. In almost one-year they will be getting married in this same spot. This couple already had a beautiful engagement session done by their friend photographer. so we made this into a one-year celebration session.
I always love getting to work with new couples. A lot of times couples will come feeling nervous just like Dylyn did. Jokingly couples will tell me they might have taken a shot before the session. I always laugh. It is my favorite thing to offer them some calmness and let them know it’s going to be great. I can relate to being nervous at sessions because anytime my family has a session my anxiety is through the roof. Good photographers should always bring assurance and good vibes to their clients. I love being able to do this.
Ryan and Dylyn’s Cousiac Manor engagement session was perfect. The weather was beautiful, the location was stunning and my time with Ryan and Dylyn was fun. Cousiac Manor had some gorgeous places on the grounds to get great photos. Please enjoy some of our favorites below. I know you’ll love them as much as I do.
To Ryan and Dylyn, thank you for allowing me to take these photos. It was fun to get to know you both a little. I cannot wait until next year, friends! It is going to be so beautiful.
