This fall themed Virginia Beach Wedding was such a joy to photograph. I met Ryan and Kristin, for the first time, just a month or so ago at the Greenbrier Mall.  I easily fell in love with their sweet personalities.  Kristin has the coolest tattoos.  If I were a tattoo girl I definitely would rock sleeves like her.

A Fall Themed Wedding

Ryan and Kristin’s wedding was so perfect even though it was a rainy day in Virginia Beach.  There was a cornfield right next to the Hickory Ruritan Club that had just been chopped down.  This tied together the fall theme Kristin hoped for, so we headed over there to do most of their photos.  Thankfully, we had umbrellas to cover us from the rain.  A super shoutout to, Austen, one of Kristin’s cousin’s, who was so kind to hold a big umbrella for me.  He did such a great job making sure I was covered at all times.

Ryan’s Love For Kristin

I loved watching how Ryan loves Kristin in such a pure way.  You can tell they are best friends.  He cherished her throughout the whole day.  He couldn’t even wait to share their gift exchange and made sure she opened her gift first.  It was such a joy watching them interact with each other.  Especially the way he honors his love for her.

The Wo-man of Honor

It was so cool having Emmy as the wo-man of honor.  I remember when I first met her.  Her red lipstick was amazing.  I was so jealous and I told her how I wish I could pull off lipstick like her.  I loved watching her love for her two best friends.  Often I’d look over and tears would be filling her eyes.

The Matron of Honor

Then there was, Jess, Kristin’s big sister and matron of honor.  She did a great job being the matron of honor too.   She was there whenever Kristin needed her to be and did such a wonderful job setting up and making sure everything was perfect for her baby sister.

Black Flowers

The black flowers in the wedding bouquet was so cool.  I don’t think I’ve ever photographed a wedding that had black flowers.  This day was a first.  Kristin and her mom made this really cool fall themed bouquet.  They did a wonderful job.

Family Feel

The family feel of this wedding was wonderful.  If you read many of our blogs you already know that family feel is our favorite kind of weddings.  So, enjoy some of our favorites from Ryan and Kristin’s wedding day.  As Virginia Beach wedding photographers, these kind of weddings are our favorites.
