Chrysler Museum Engagement Session Duke & Novia
As a Virginia wedding photographer, engagement sessions have to be my favorite part of the entire experience. Especially a Chrysler Museum engagement session. This session was perfect. Duke and Novia were fun, easy-going, and had a little bit of a romantic vibe. Check out Novia’s gorgeous yellow dress with Duke’s suit. Talk about stunning!
It was my first time meeting Duke and Novia. They were a little shy at first, but with a little coaching from me, they eventually warmed up. It’s normal for couples meeting me for the first time to feel nervous. Once their nerves subsided, they relaxed, and everything went smoothly. As cars passed by them, people cheered, clapped, and shouted congratulations. The Chrysler Museum was a gorgeous backdrop for their engagement session. It gave us a lot of different variety.
Duke and Novia met at pharmacy school. Novia is a pharmacist for a local drug-store, and Duke is a pharmacist in the military. I loved talking and getting to know these two. Duke shared how he was from Vietnam and lived some in Australia. He moved to the U.S. around 13 years old. Novia shared with me her age, which was a lot older than I thought. I was shocked. She looks younger than she is and has accomplished a lot for her age.
Sadly, Jake and I won’t be photographing their wedding next year. They decided to do a small intimate destination wedding in Florida, which is going to be stunning. It was such a joy to meet these two, spend the day with them, and photograph this time in their lives.
To Duke and Novia, thank you for the honor of capturing this time for you both.
