This Virginia Beach First Landing engagement session brought a lot of joy to my heart. Knowing Kristin & hearing how her & Chad met & what she did to get to this time in her life was amazing.

Jake & I have known Kristin for many years. Jake use to work with her in the business world & we went to church with her for many years. She even babysat our Jenson when he was a baby.

THEIR STORY

This girl has an incredible story to share. When she reached out to us to photograph her wedding, I was honored. We couldn’t wait to meet this “Chad” guy. We’d seen her posting so many things about him on social media & saw their recent engagement on New Year’s Eve & we wanted to know who this amazing smiling guy was.

We set an appointment to meet in person one Saturday morning, but it snowed & we moved our appointment to a FaceTime call. If you know anything about me, I am not a fan of FaceTime. I prefer face to face in the flesh conversations.

Jake & I jumped on the phone with these two & listened as Kristin shared her story that brought her to Chad. It included a lot of heart to heart conversations with God. I loved the raw real life way Kristin told it. We loved meeting Chad. He smiles a lot like Jake. Super big! And has a very charismatic personality. When I met him on the day of their engagement shoot I knew then that he was the perfect match for Kristin.

We had fun laughing, chatting, & I loved hearing about Kristin’s vision for her wedding. These two are getting married at my favorite wedding venue in the 757. The Historic Post Office. They are getting married this August. I know they can’t wait!
