Rudy & Taylor . Engaged! A Town Center Engagement Session

A week or so ago I met up with Rudy & Taylor in the Virginia Beach Town Center for their engagement session. This was not our originally planned spot.  Taylor wanted to have her session at First Landing State Park, but the morning of the session it was raining horribly.  I usually allow the ladies to decide whether they want to reschedule their sessions or wait it out to see what the weather is going to do. The weather is so unpredictable around here.  Most girls have hair & makeup appointments, so I leave the decision up to them.  Taylor wanted to wait out the weather.

Rudy & Taylor live in the Newport News area.   Here in Virginia Beach it looked pretty hopeless.  I sent her a video of dark skies and rain for days, she returned my picture with a picture of sunny skies and no rain.  It really is a different world across the tunnel.  Thankfully, her call was the best call and it cleared up on this side and was a perfect afternoon session.  She decided to move her session to Town Center because of all the rain. First Landing has been full of water.

This was my first time meeting Rudy & Taylor.  The minute I met them I easily fell in love with their personalities.  They are both easy going and kind natured.  My favorite kind of people.  The ones that make you feel warm and relaxed.  They both just smiled a lot and easily fell into poses as if they were naturals.  Taylor’s hair & makeup was gorgeous and I love the burgundy sweater she chose for the session.  Actually, I think their outfits worked so well with Town Center’s backdrop.

These two are getting married next summer at the Hilton in Downtown Norfolk.  One of my favorite spots in Norfolk.  These two love hanging with their family.  Taylor basketball and softball.  She currently works in the Public School System as a first grade teacher. Super claps to her for doing that. Rudy works for Enterprise and loves it there.  Oh, and he is a good cook.  He took cooking classes in High School with the same guy that catered the last wedding we did.  If you follow our blogs, you’ll know how much I love this guy’s food!

The session was overall easy and fun.  All three of us were so happy we were able to do the session despite the weather earlier that day.    Jake and I cannot wait to be to celebrate with them and their huge wedding party next summer.  Wishing you both such a happy engagement season!
