Historic Jasmine Plantation Wedding Paul + Sami
Historic Jasmine Plantation
This Historic Jasmine Plantation wedding might have been the best wedding we’ve ever photographed. We aren’t saying this to put any other weddings down because we understand how blessed we are to be a part of so many couples’ wedding days. It is an honor. Couples can choose anyone & when they entrust us with the biggest day of their lives, we feel it…big!
First Time Meeting Paul & Sami
I remember when I met Paul & Sami at the engagement session in Colonial Williamsburg. It was so easy to fall in love with these two. I knew instantly they were so perfect for each other. It didn’t surprise me to hear the beautifully articulated praises by those closest to them during the reception that said everything I witnessed firsthand that day. This couple is the cream of the crop & the story of how they became a couple is
These two met in college. Sami was Paul’s pretend plus one. She acted as if she was his girlfriend on at least three different occasions. One day they were hanging out together & Paul suggested they should kiss to see how it would go. The rest is history. That these two are a match made in heaven is evident to anyone that comes into contact with them.
This wedding was probably one of the biggest weddings we’ve ever photographed. Close to 250 people pulled up in multiple charter buses filling the ceremony site. Jake kept talking about how much he loved spending time with all the family. In many ways, they reminded him of his. They love the joy of being together and taking photos.
From Jake to Paul & Sami!
“It was such a marvelous time with you & the extraordinary league of gentlemen that were your groomsmen. Jamison, Mike, Mike, Dan, Duncan, Caleb, Jack, and the Melodic Jack!! No, I didn’t reference anything to remember their names. I didn’t need to. You all made such an impact on me. It was fun hanging out with you guys. Your guys loved you & the superb joy & love for Sami felt like a fairy tale. I loved your story!
Sami, I didn’t get to spend time with all the girls, but you knew what you wanted and you weren’t afraid to speak up. Loved the dance competition between you and your husband. Thank you for truly believing in us and letting us know that we undercharge for the quality & value of what we do.”
To Paul & Sami, thank you both for allowing us to be a part of this Historic Jasmine Plantation wedding. It will be forever engrained in our hearts. We hope you both stay in touch for years to come & cannot wait to watch your beautiful family flourish. Enjoy some of our favorites. It was so hard to choose.
With so much love,
Jake & Jen
