Max + Meghan . Engaged! A Fun First Landing Engagement Session

What a fun engagement session Max and Meghan had a couple weeks ago at First Landing State Park in Virginia Beach.  There is a certain pose I love to do with couples to bring out fun laughter.  Most, struggle just a little, but these two nailed it and I could so see their personalities light up when I allowed them to be playful.  When I mentioned how well these two did in that specific pose they said, “well that is pretty much our every day normal!”  Tickling and wrestling each other.  I just love it and I guess that would best describe my session with them!

As Virginia Beach Engagement photographers, Jake and I attend one wedding show per year and we met these two at that wedding show this past November in Virginia Beach.  Surprisingly, we found out Meghan’s dad works with Jake at his day job pretty closely.  It really is such a small world, isn’t it?  We are so excited to be a part of their wedding in October at the Lesner Inn and think it is so awesome that Jake will get to be at a wedding with a co-worker.

As Max, Meghan and I walked to the locations for our session, I loved hearing about Max’s passion for physical therapy.  He is just finishing up his schooling.  He explained the differences in positions and what he would do as a physical therapist.  We are definitely wishing him all the best as he takes his tests and gets ready to work full time in that field.

We also talked about their favorite shows right now.  I love hearing what people are watching currently because I need some new recommendations.  So, if you are reading this and have some good suggestions please feel free to drop a comment below with them.  We’d be ever grateful!

Overall this session was relaxed, easy going and fun.  Much like these two personalities.  Meghan is quieter and easy going, like me! 🙂 And Max is bubbly and talkative, which is so great.  Most of the guys I work with are quieter so it was nice to hear Max talking.

To Max and Meghan, thank you for allowing me to be a part of this day.  It was so fun and relaxed hanging with you two.  Jake and I cannot wait until your wedding in October.  But until then, we wish you both a joyful season before the big day!
