Dean + Caroline

The beautiful Womans Club of Portsmouth was the perfect venue that offered both southern charm & a little bit of eloquence for Dean & Caroline’s wedding on June 5th. Jake & I met this lovely couple on their wedding day. They both currently live in Pennsylvania, but this venue situated in the heart of Hampton Roads, Virginia was the perfect spot to host their wedding.

Wedding Theme

Caroline did a wonderful job piecing together all the wedding details to fit her theme. Her dress & shoes were ravishing. I even told her if I got married (to Jake) again, I’d want those shoes. She laughed & shared how she searched hard to find them. They were beautiful. Her color choices of white, peach, off-white, sage/greens were beautiful & made the southern feel more tangible.

The weather, the day, the family & friends, the speeches, the laughter, the atmosphere, and all the dancing made this wedding a dream.

The Beauty

My most favorite part of this wedding was the beauty of it all. From the ceremony set up to the reception, to every little detail in between. It was perfect. Maria & her team at Everly After Events did wonderfully bringing Caroline’s vision to life.

Jake loved getting to know Dean & his groomsmen. Dean told Jake how he felt like they’ve known each other forever. Jake laughed & thanked him. My husband has a way of making people feel comfortable.
