Virginia Farm Engagement

This Virginia Farm Engagement Session was so special. I jumped in the car and traveled to South Hill in Virginia to photograph Trevor & Meagan’s country engagement session. My son, Jenson, joined me for the car ride. We had so much fun chatting.

The Family Farm

This hillside land filled with so many acres was where Trevor grew up. His father now runs the cattle farm and Trevor is in line to take it over. We had so much fun dodging cow patty’s. A few cow’s decided to join in on the engagement session fun.

The Couple

Trevor and Meagan met in the summer time on the dating app, Bumble. They had their first date at Sedona Tap House.

These two love to golf together, work-out together, and they love the beach & often travel to Nags Head, North Carolina for week ends away.

I took some time to ask each of them what they love about each other & here were some of their answers:

Meagan loves that Trevor has never met a stranger. He can talk to anyone he meets. Also, she says he is one of the most caring people she has ever met. He is just like his mom who passed away a few years ago. Lastly, Meagan loves that Trevor grew up on the farm and learned the meaning of hard work. She said, “heart of gold does not come close to describing him.” Wow!

Trevor loves how selfless Meagan is. She shows her love through acts of kindness & she always pushes those around her to be better people. He also loves how open & honest she is. You never have to guess what she is thinking.

My Thoughts

I really loved hanging with these two during their engagement session. It was a joy to make Meagan’s engagement session dreams come true. She really wanted to make this special for Trevor on his family farm. His dad even joined for a few photos for the perfect farm life feel. Plus, these two are such a stunning couple.
