Tyler + Ashley . Engaged! A Romantic First Landing Engagement

Have you ever fell in love with someone just by talking to them on the phone?  The minute I talked to Ashley on the phone that was the case.  She is incredibly sweet and such a joy to talk to.  So prepping to meet both her and Tyler at First Landing State Park in Virginia Beach was exciting.  As Virginia Wedding Photographers we have the joy of knowing so many people and people like Tyler and Ashley make our jobs so wonderful.

The day of their session couldn’t have been more magical.  The weather was slightly chilly for a May day, but the sun was shining and Ashley’s only request for her session was dreamy photos with that gorgeous glow.  The beautiful sun made that so possible for us.  A later sunset session also made First Landing a little less crowded compared to the last time I went there.

Tyler and Ashley met at George Mason University.  Tyler is a sports reporter.  How cool is that!?  Ashley has a cat that she loves and in their free time they don’t do much (their words)! Haha!  Tyler likes taking on extra freelance work and Ashley loves dance.  She also loves going to the movies sometimes alone.  I totally understand that.  So do I!

This is session was so perfect.  It was light and fun with a lot of laughter.  These two did an amazing job behind the camera.  They were like pros!  Jake & I cannot wait to be a part of their wedding next month.  Yes, they are still having it despite the quarantine.  Instead they’ve opted for a very small intimate home wedding, which we cannot wait for.  I am just sad that Ashley’s Grandma won’t be there to be a part.  I was so looking forward to meeting her!

To Tyler and Ashley, thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of capturing your engagement.  I had such a wonderful time with you two last Saturday.  Thank you both for making it so fun!  Jake and I cannot wait to celebrate with you both next month!
