Their love story began on Tinder, but it wasn’t until they discovered their mutual friends and connections that things really clicked. They had both frequented the Lucky Oyster, where Melody worked as a waitress, and Adam would visit with his dad and uncle. The two had even crossed paths before, without realizing it! After two dates in November 2017, they officially made it official and started building a relationship full of adventure and memories.

In true Adam style, he decided to pop the question in one of the most breathtaking and historically significant places they both adore: The Biltmore. The couple had been planning to run the Richmond Marathon together in November 2023, but Adam had a surprise up his sleeve.

On their 6-year anniversary, they visited the Biltmore, where Adam proposed unexpectedly during a beautiful private overlook tour.
