Chesapeake Sunflower Family Photoshoot Betz Family

This Sunflower Chesapeake Family Photoshoot was stunning. This blended family was the cutest & look at all these beautiful girls!!! They were so fun to work with.

We met at the Greenbrier Farms in Chesapeake, Virginia. When I pulled in I met the Betz family in the parking lot & greeted everyone. I asked Michelle what her vision was for their family & she pointed over to the gorgeous Sunflower field. I was excited because I’d never photographed a family in a sunflower field yet. This was the time in my 11 years of photography; it was a dream!

As we walked up to the field there was a beautiful maternity session going on, so we headed far away so we wouldn’t get in the way of that session. We made our way to the perfect spot & got ready for the photos. We laughed & we teased; everything was just so perfect & easy. After we headed to another location in the sunflower field to get a little more sunflower in the foreground, which was amazing.

To finish up, Michelle requested some cute walking photos in a nearby row of trees. Those turned out so great too & were super fun.

After the session was over we all walked back to our cars. I got a chance to talk to some of these beautiful girls. The oldest just got her drivers license & was able to drive to the session & we chatted about that! Who remembers how they felt when they got their drivers license? Eeeek? It was surreal, right? I got to chat with another one of the girls who plays volleyball in High School.

It was truly a joy to be a part of this Chesapeake Sunflower Family Photoshoot. I am so grateful to have met this beautiful family.
