Rick + Erin . Married! A West Neck Hall Wedding

Fall might just be the most perfect time to get married!  The weather is perfect and the leaves & colors are stunning too!  Rick & Erin got married on Saturday at the West Neck Village Hall in Virginia Beach and it was such a beautiful day even though the sun was no where to be found.  It has also been a very long time since we’ve photographed a wedding at this location, so it was a treat to be back.  It sits beautifully by a fountained lake and so much beautiful foliage all around.

From the moment I met Erin,  I fell in love with her.  Her dad shared it perfectly as he gave his speech at the wedding.  She is strong in every way and I love that about her.  I love that she speaks her mind!  You almost never have to wonder what she is thinking.  She is bright and full of life and personality and the greatest thing about her is that she passed all of her personality on to her adorable little daughter, Olivia.  Olivia is the cutest little ham and if you get the pleasure of meeting her, her cheeks and tight curly hair alone will keep your heart fluttering.  🙂  Rick is the complete opposite of Erin.  He is a big teddy bear behind a tough exterior (I believe that is how Erin described him).  He is also very quiet, which balances these two out perfectly.

It was so much fun listening to Erin’s sister Ashley tell about the stories of their childhood and Erin’s dad talk about her personality.  It was also great watching them have fun on the dance floor and just catching up with Erin in between dances. We really enjoyed getting to spend time with these two on their wedding day.  Laughing with them, sharing in memories, being able to meet their family and friends was truly a pleasure.  We feel just a little bit closer to them and so glad we got to share in this gorgeous day with them.

Wishing these two a very restful and blessed honeymoon as they are cruising to the Bahamas.  Praying for all the blessings and so much happiness to follow these two!
