Nunzio + Hannah . Married A Heights Community Church Wedding
Nunzio + Hannah
I met the sweetest Hannah at a wedding show we were invited to in the Roanoke, Virginia area. When she opened her mouth I fell in love with her country lovin accent and then a few minutes later her sweet sweet personality. #dream She knew she wanted us to be her wedding photographers the moment she met me! She circled back around to tell me she was sure she was gonna book us! And she did! It wasn’t until a few months later that I got to meet Nunzio at their engagement session in the gorgeous hills of Callaway, VA where the cell phone service is…uh…spotty at best! 😉 Nunzio is seriously the kindest guy, with such a huge heart and so easy to be around. And his hair is absolutely gorgeous! I bet I asked him if I could touch it a thousand times that day.
These two sweets met through Hannah’s brother and Nunzio’s proposal was so special. They all got dressed up to take family photos and as they went outside, Vivana, Nunzio’s daughter, asked Hannah if she’d marry her daddy. We reenacted this at their engagement session. Vivana, Nunzio’s daughter, is absolutely gorgeous and so sweet too. She came up and hugged me on the dance floor at the reception. #heartswoon And one of my favorite parts of the wedding (which I’ll get to) involves her. Hannah made Vivana her maid of honor for the wedding. How sweet is that?
Because we had a wedding the night before, we decided to get up super early and drive to Roanoke, VA. The horrible storm that was in Virginia Beach the night before decided to follow us all the way to Roanoke. I think the weather was actually worse there than here. But the day was amazing anyways! I loved hanging out with Hannah, her girls and her family. Nunzio’s sisters were so amazing and sweet. So helpful in so many ways. Everything from getting ready to the reception was wonderful. It had that friend and family feel! AND we got to see our friends, Tim and Tara Wall and catch up with them for a few moments. Nunzio works for Tim at his auto shop.
The Community Heights Church in Roanoke, VA where Nunzio and Hannah got married was so beautiful. I loved the feel inside. It had the old wooden pews, a gorgeous piped organ and a beautiful picture worthy front. This is where one of my favorite moments of the entire day took place. Hannah wrote a deep heart felt letter to Viviana, Nunzio’s daughter. If there was a dry eye in the place, as she read it, I’d be so surprised. I had to hold back tears behind the camera as Hannah so beautifully read the words to Viviana. Viviana couldn’t stop crying. What a beautiful love letter to her new daughter and how special it was to hear Hannah’s heart to Viviana. Those words will forever be imprinted into my heart.
This day was so easy because everyone felt warm and like family. I just got a text from Hannah that read, “you guys were the talk of the wedding guest btw, everyone loved y’all!” We loved you all too. Thank you for making us for like family and so a part. You have to know by now (if you are a faithful reader of our blogs) that is our very best feeling and our absolute goal. To the sweetest, Hannah & Nunzio thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your day. We were so honored to be able to. We hope that you two will come visit anytime you want to have a weekend away at the beach. There is always a place here for you two. We also hope you will stay in touch and we pray all the blessings over your new family. So much love and just as much thanks!
