This wedding season on the East Coast has been unusually rainy, but this day, Kenny & Ellaine’s day, there was absolutely no rain in the forecast! Actually, the weddings before this one and the wedding after both had rain at some point in the day. But for Kenny & Ellaine’s day the sun was shining and the temperatures were warm and the day was absolutely perfect. Smiles, laughter, fun and joy filled everyone! The way it should be! <3
Kenny and Ellaine are like family and have known Jake for a long time, so we loved being able to walk with them through their big day. Kenny is such a sweet guy. He is always looking for ways to make others feel comfortable and serve them. During their engagement session, Kenny went out of his way to help a very old man that just got out of the hospital. Instead of continuing on with the engagement session, Kenny chose to walk this old man from the bus stop all the way to his house. It was seriously the most precious thing and he now is forever a super dude in my book. Ellaine is just as sweet. Her smile is big and so welcoming and while she is quiet you know there is just a calmness about her. :)I loved watching how well Ellaine’s girls served her on the wedding day. Luisa, one of our past brides was there at every stepping helping with the dress and so were all the other girls. They did so good making sure Ellaine was comfortable and happy. I mentioned this to Ellaine and she said, “really any of my girls could have been my maid of honor!” You could really tell how true that was. These guys spent their honeymoon down in Key West, Florida.
Kenny, you are one lucky guy! You both were radiant, and I can’t wait for you to relive your day through these images!!!! Jake and I are so blessed to have been able to walk with you guys on this day! We thank God for you and are praying that this new season is full of so much joy for you two! All the blessings!
