Jeff + Jamie . Married! A Founder's Inn Wedding

Jeff and Jamie, I met this beautiful couple at Starbucks and fell in love with them immediately.  Jamie is seriously one of the sweetest people alive.  Her smile and eyes can light up any room.  And Jeff was swoon over her the entire meeting.  🙂 His dry humor was fun too….well for those who get dry humor….lol!  I was so excited when they asked us to photograph their wedding.  We started out with their engagement photos last fall at the Pagoda Gardens in Norfolk and they turned out dreamy!

They picked one of our favorite venues here in Virginia Beach; the Founder’s Inn and Spa.  I mean who doesn’t love the garden in the back that sits on a beautiful lake with a fountain in the middle.  The venue is so pretty and so was everything about the Saturday they got married.  We did their ceremony in and indoor area near fire places and it was so beautiful.  We headed outside and did their bridal party photos and caught a few bride groom photos before the rain started pouring, which pushed us to take cover.  This wedding season has definitely been a rainy one.  Last year we didn’t have any rain weddings, but this year almost every wedding has caught some rain.  We then headed to their reception which was so much fun.  The DJ had an awesome idea to play a game.  The game was whichever table could sing a love song out loud could go through the buffet line.  I helped a table out a little. 🙂 It was awesome and really set the stage for a fun reception.  The kids were awesome and everyone had a blast…even us! 🙂

Another thing I really enjoyed during Jeff and Jamie’s wedding was their grandmother.  It touched my heart that she was able to be there and celebrate with them.  Not always are grandmothers able to make weddings, but she did and she was so radiant.  🙂

To Jeff & Jamie so many congratulations!  Thank you for allowing us to be a part of this day!  We hope that you guys will stay close and in touch.  We have so much enjoyed getting to know you guys beyond words.  x0x0
