As a JEB Little Creek Wedding Photographer, I have had the pleasure of documenting countless beautiful weddings.  Nathan and Janice’s celebration at the JEB Little Creek Chapel stands out as particularly memorable. Their special day was a wonderful blend of love, and Filipino traditions, making it a truly unique experience.

A Perfect Wedding Day: JEB Little Creek Chapel and Westin Hotel

Nathan and Janice’s wedding day was nothing short of magical. The ceremony took place at the JEB Little Creek Chapel, a venue that holds special significance for Janice’s family, as it was the same place where her parents were married. The chapel’s serene and historic charm provided the perfect backdrop for their vows. For those looking for a distinguished and heartfelt setting, the JEB Little Creek Chapel in Virginia Beach is an ideal choice.

Following the ceremony, the couple celebrated their union with a reception at the Westin Hotel in Town Center, Virginia Beach. The Westin provided a sophisticated and elegant setting for their festivities, complementing the lovely tones of mauve and gold that adorned the tables.

A Celebration of Love and Service

Nathan and Janice are both dedicated members of the US military, with Nathan serving as a Naval Officer (Surface Warfare) at the United States Naval Academy, and Janice as a Naval Officer (Nuclear Surface Warfare) stationed on the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower. Their commitment to their country is truly inspiring, and it was an honor to capture their wedding.

The couple’s love for each other and their shared interests—rock climbing, going to the gym, and enjoying video games—shone through in their wedding day. Nathan’s patience, compassion, and the ability to surround himself with the best people perfectly complement Janice’s attention to detail, maturity, and decisive nature.

The Proposal: A Heartwarming Surprise

Nathan’s proposal to Janice was a beautifully orchestrated surprise. He made it seem like he would propose during dinner.  Instead, his and Janice’s family transformed their home into a romantic haven. Amber Christmas lights lined the stairwell, leading to a room filled with friends and family. Nathan serenaded Janice with a song before proposing, creating a heartfelt and well-planned moment.

The Wedding Details

The wedding colors were elegantly chosen, with bridesmaids dressed in mauve and the groomsmen in classic black and white tuxes. The reception tables featured white linens with accents of mauve, purple, gold, and green, adding a touch of sophistication and warmth to the celebration.

Nathan and Janice’s focus on their guests was evident throughout the day. They wanted to ensure their friends and family, many of whom traveled from afar, were captured in joyful and candid moments. It was clear that their priority was the happiness and enjoyment of their loved ones.

A Thank You Note To The Couple

Nathan and Janice, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your incredible wedding day. It was a joy to capture the love, laughter, and special moments shared between you and your guests.
