Jacob + Nicole . Engaged

It is only right for us to dedicate our first photography blog post to, Nicole!  Since Nicole is the one that asked to see more blogging in our website.  We are incredibly thankful she gave us the extra push!  So, here is to you, Nicole.  Thank you for your patience while we got it done.

Jacob & Nicole both serve in the Navy.  Nicole is super smart and very on top of things.  I have really enjoyed getting to know her through her process of choosing us, booking us and their engagement session.  Jacob is fun, laid back, and loves baseball and so easy behind the camera.

For their engagement session we started in the Pagoda Gardens in Downtown Norfolk.  It was a beautiful evening.  Nicole wore a beautiful blue dress that really popped with the green leaves in the trees.  Her smile was gorgeous.

Nicole’s dog, Zoey, joined us for some of the photos.  She was perfect!  She posed perfectly and even gave me a few smiles for the camera.

After we finished up at the Pagoda Gardens, we headed over to the Harbor Park.  It was so awesome to be able to include Jacob’s love for baseball in their engagement session.  We had a blast there and it was great having the whole place to ourselves.  Jacob even got to hit a ball over the fence.

One thing I love about Nicole is she knows what she wants.  She brought me so many ideas of her desires for their session and they both made my job so easy because they were naturals behind the camera.

We are looking forward to photographing their wedding in May of 2017 at the New Kent Winery!  Nicole is going to look so gorgeous in her wedding dress.  We can’t wait to show you the photos.
