The ceremony was nothing short of magical. The flower men, perfectly in sync with their rock climbing bags, set the tone for a day filled with joy. The vows exchanged, filled with laughter and heartfelt words, created an atmosphere of pure happiness. It might just be my favorite ceremony of all time.  And I’ve been to a lot!

Emotional Highlights

Anna-Lisa’s mom was absolutely stunning, and her bridesmaids radiated warmth and kindness, reflecting the deep love they have for her. Seeing this love and joy in action was truly up-lifting.

The first dance was an emotional highlight. Wes lifting Anna-Lisa into the air and their synchronized movements left me, after all these years of photographing weddings, actually moved to tears. It was a amazing moment & the crowd clapped with joy!

Heartfelt Speeches

The speeches, too, were memorable. Wes’s best man, Snead—whom he met on Craigslist—gave a heartfelt tribute that brought him to his knees & tears to his eyes.  It was a a beautiful testimony of how much Wes and Anna-Lisa are cherished by those around them.
