Gabriella’s Virginia Beach Senior Session

It has been a long time since I’ve done a Virginia Beach Senior session. Mainly because weddings take up most of our time, but as you know this year things have been insane. With so many weddings being postponed my schedule has opened up to a lot of different types of sessions. When Becky, Gabriella’s mom, asked if I was available for her daughter’s senior session, I said yes!

It’s funny what you imagine in your head with conversations sometimes. Becky texted me that her daughter whom I’ve never met up to this point decided to dye her hair and that we needed to wait until her hair was fixed to do this session. I immediately pictured a punkster type daughter. I know that’s so “stereotype”, but let’s be honest, we all have them. To my surprise, when I met Gabriella on the day of her shoot I was taken back by how naturally beautiful she is. She was nothing I imagined. I already had this conversation with them and we all laughed about it. I could not stop commenting on how beautiful this girl is. And my sweet husband immediately came to me after he culled her images to tell me that she was the prettiest girl I’ve ever photographed. Yep, I agree! And she’s so sweet too.

Gabriella is a senior this year and she wants to go to school to be a dental hygienist. She has such a sweet and fun personality. It was a joy hanging out with her during her session. At first, she was a little shy, but by the end, she was posing like a model queen.
