Colonial Heritage Williamsburg Virginia Wedding Ryan + Dana
A Colonial Heritage Wedding
This Colonial Heritage Williamsburg Wedding is so beautiful. Ryan & Dana booked us a while time-ago & it feels like “finally” being able to photograph their wedding. I will never forget the day Dana came to sit on our couch. We were shocked because we knew her mom from our church life-group & had heard about Kingston their son so much. Such a small world.
The Bride & Groom
Dana’s life story is one for the books. She was adopted & found her birth mother while she was still in high school & met her younger sister Dani. I loved the story. Dana made sure to incorporate all the mom’s & dad’s in the whole day. What a beautiful story of reconciliation.
Dana has one of the brightest personalities. She is bubbly & has a smile that lights up a room. But don’t be fooled she can be fierce too. Me and Brittany, her long-time friend, laughed about it. Ryan on the other hand is her perfect match. He is quiet, sweet, and loves the Tennessee football team to the core. Which is why he is wearing an orange tie.
The whole day was so smooth & I will credit that to an incredible day-of -coordinator, Corey. He was amazing to work with. He was there at every single important moment of the day. It was great getting to know him too. Speaking of awesome vendors we had an awesome conversation with the DJ during dinner.
Favorite Moment
My favorite part of this day was when Kingston walked his mom down the aisle. He was all tough & jokes the whole morning, but broke down in tears at this moment. Then Dana lost it. I loved that I was able to catch these tears on camera.
Thank You!
To Ryan & Dana, thank you for allowing us to photograph your Colonial Heritage Williamsburg Wedding. We have so much enjoyed getting to know you through this time & we hope you’ll keep coming out to our many events & stay connected.
Enjoy some of our favorites.
With love,
Jake & Jen
