Alex + Morgan . Married! A Creed Ruritan Wedding

Alex and Morgan!!! Where do I start? Jake & I have been looking forward to Alex and Morgan’s wedding all summer; for so many reasons!  And after this past Saturday, we know it’s one we will seriously never forget!  Everything was so perfect about their day.  The weather was perfect, the skies were gorgeously blue and every aspect fell so perfectly into place.  This was probably one of the most stress free weddings we have ever photographed and Alex, Morgan and their family and friends made us feel like we weren’t just photographers at their wedding, but we were a part of the family.  Alex went above and beyond what any groom has.  He was attentive to us and our needs and made sure everything was smooth for us….I was impressed!  The family and friends were so warm to us and we found ourselves getting to know some of them deeper than just a hi and bye.

Not only was their day so great that we didn’t want to leave, but I love stories like these two have.  They are high school sweet hearts! Every time I hear a couple tell me that they have been together since high school I immediately am swoon!  I think it’s like a disney movie…romantic and sweet and that it doesn’t get any better!  Alex and Morgan are truly an incredible couple.  I’v only been able to spend a few moments with them before their wedding and each time I have been around them they are  such a joy.  Morgan is quiet and soft, although her family tells me that’s only until she gets to know you.  Watching her throughout the day I knew exactly  why Alex was in love with her.  Her soft strength is a gift to anyone she is around.  She is such a natural beauty too! ????  And Alex, he is the cream of the crop!  I even told his mom, she did a great job raising such a great man!

Yesterday I received a text from sweet Morgan, which read “Jen! Alex and I cannot thank you guys enough for all your hard work yesterday!  You guys truly helped make our big day one to remember and glad we could share these memories with you all.  My mom and all of us were blown away by your talent behind the camera.  We especially loved the little sneak peek slideshow!  We are ecstatic to see how the rest of the pictures turn out.  If you guys need anything from us … do not hesitate to reach out!  We love you both!!”  My heart is so full after being a part of Alex and Morgan’s day!  To us, it truly is an incredibly gift to be a part of couples wedding days…I found myself thinking on Saturday as I photographed different aspects of the day how blessed we are to be able to do what we do!  For some, this is the greatest day of their lives and we get to celebrate with it.  We get to watch first hand love stories unfold, we get to see the tears in grooms eyes, and the soft whisper of love he shares in her ears and the excitement on the brides face when her groom sees her for the very first time.  Its an honor and we don’t take these moments lightly!

So, to Alex and Morgan thank you for entrusting us!  For making us feel like family and for engraving such a beautiful day into our hearts!  We will always look back on your day and treasure it!  We can’t wait to deepen our relationship with you guys through the years!
