Andrew and Ashley’s session was filled with so much warmth and connection, even after having to reschedule a couple of times due to the cold. And truthfully—even on this evening, it was still cold. But they embraced it fully, and you would never know by the way they laughed, stayed close, and simply enjoyed each other.

A Sand Dunes Engagement Session in Virginia Beach

There’s something timeless about the sand dunes along the Virginia Beach coastline. The wildlife refuge was the perfect spot! The soft neutral tones, tall grasses, and open sky create a setting that feels both natural and intimate. It’s one of those locations where nothing feels forced—everything just flows.

We moved through the dunes slowly, letting the evening light guide us. These are always my favorite kinds of sessions—the ones where there’s no rush, just space to capture real moments as they unfold.
