Elizabethan Gardens Outer Banks Wedding Grady + Marguerite

A Breathtaking Elizabethan Gardens Outer Banks Wedding | May 3, 2025
On May 3, 2025, I had the honor of photographing a truly unforgettable celebration — a breathtaking Elizabethan Gardens Outer Banks Wedding followed by a stunning reception at Vista Creek. The day was filled with beauty, joy, and so many meaningful touches that reflected the heart of this couple.
The Ceremony at Elizabethan Gardens
Nestled in Manteo, NC, the Elizabethan Gardens is one of the most magical places to say “I do.” Surrounded by centuries-old trees, vibrant blooms, and the serene backdrop of the Outer Banks, the gardens create a fairytale-like atmosphere for weddings. Walking through the manicured pathways, it feels as though time slows down — the perfect setting for vows that last a lifetime.
The couple’s ceremony was both elegant and heartfelt. I was especially touched by the close bond between the bride and her father. You could see the deep love and pride shining through every glance, especially during their father-daughter dance later in the evening.
Their sweet pup even made an appearance! They thoughtfully hired a dog sitter, making it possible for their furry friend to be part of the day without adding any stress. It was such a special touch that made the celebration even more personal.
The Reception at Vista Creek
After the ceremony, everyone gathered at Vista Creek, one of my absolute favorite Outer Banks wedding venues. With its panoramic views of the sound and open, airy reception space, Vista Creek provides the perfect mix of coastal elegance and relaxed charm. The evening unfolded beautifully — from heartfelt toasts to a quiet and intimate cake cutting.
Guests were treated to some unique late-night surprises, including espresso martinis around 8:15 and tambourines & maracas handed out at 8:45, which kept the dance floor lively and full of energy. The night ended with a joyful sparkler exit, a sparkling finale to a magical day.
