As a Virginia Beach Oceanfront Wedding Photographer we were beyond excited to capture the wedding of Ryan and Annaliese, two incredibly kind-hearted people whose love story began on Hinge and led to this beautiful celebration. Their wedding day, filled with personal touches, joyful moments, and unforgettable memories, took place at the lovely Virginia Beach United Methodist Church, followed by a stunning reception at the Wyndham Virginia Beach Oceanfront.

It was a perfect day. The weather was flawless, and as the sun peeked through the clouds, it highlighted the love and beauty that surrounded this amazing couple. We are so grateful to have been part of their special day, and we couldn’t wait to share the highlights from their wedding with you!

The music was absolutely on point! Jeff and the Colonial DJ’s team kept the dance floor packed all night, with a great mix of tunes that perfectly matched the couple’s vibe.

Bridal Party Shout-Out

Ryan and Annaliese’s bridal party was a fantastic group, and we want to give a special shout-out to Caroline Noblin, the Matron of Honor. Caroline went above and beyond, being there for every single step of the day with so much love and dedication. It was refreshing and truly heartwarming to see such a loyal friend showing up for her best friend in such an incredible way. You could feel the bond between Caroline and Annaliese, and it was so special to witness.

Favorite Moments

One of our favorite moments from the day was Annaliese’s father-daughter first look and father-daughter dance. Marc, Annaliese’s father, was incredibly emotional as he saw his daughter in her wedding dress for the first time, and the love between them was palpable. There’s something about these tender, intimate moments that always touches our hearts, and this one was particularly special.  Kelly, our second photographer and Associate also mentioned how special this was for her.

The first look with dads has become a treasured moment at many weddings. It’s a time for fathers to see their daughters as brides, and it’s often filled with love, pride, and emotion. This moment not only highlights the father’s role in the bride’s life but also offers a private space for the family to connect before the larger celebration. If you’re considering doing a first look with your father, we absolutely recommend it! It’s an emotional, special moment that will be remembered forever.

The Reception

The reception at the Wyndham Virginia Beach Oceanfront was a blast! The venue, with its stunning ocean views, was the perfect backdrop for a lively evening. Ryan and Annaliese shared their first dance as a married couple under a sky full of twinkling lights, and the dance floor was packed all night long thanks to the amazing work of Colonial DJ’s.

The night was full of joy, laughter, and love, and we were honored to be there to document every single moment—from the speeches to the late-night dance moves.
