Neil + Michelle . Married A Fredericksburg Virginia Farm Wedding

This past Saturday we had the honor of photographing Neil & Michelle’s gorgeous farm wedding in Fredericksburg, Virginia.  I have known Michelle since she was a small girl and I also haven’t seen her since she was that same small girl…I was surprised to see she hadn’t changed in appearance at all.  Maybe a little more beautiful as a young woman than a young girl, but so many similarities.

When we arrived at the farm Michelle was tucked away in her bridal suite calmly doing her own makeup.  When I asked her about it later, she told me she spent hours watching videos on how to apply makeup.  I was impressed with her skills.  Her makeup truly looked professionally done and her skin was absolutely gorgeous…so soft and pure.  She looked stunning.

I had never met Neil until this day.  I walked down and saw him standing in the farmhouse kitchen and knew exactly who he was.  He was smiling from ear to ear and he definitely was the most handsome of the group.  I walked up and introduced myself.  He had and gentle presence and was full of so much joy as we shook hands.

Watching Neil and Michelle interact with each other throughout their day was beautiful.  He was so caring and gentle with her as he helped her through the mud or took care in her getting wet when it rained.  He was so mesmerized by his bride and you could see his deep love yet joy for her in his eyes.  The way they danced during their reception was magical!

The day was just as perfect as their love.  The sun was fair to us and so was the rain which decided to grace us with its presence just before the bride groom photos, but we didn’t let it stop us from getting gorgeous portraits.  We took cover under the farmhouse porch and then later embraced it with some gorgeous rain photos (see them below).  I enjoyed so much watching the sisters and brothers give speeches and sharing of their love for Neil and Michelle.  They are truly blessed with such amazing friends and family!

To Neil and Michelle we wish you both a magically love that goes deep.  The same love you displayed on your wedding day may it grow stronger and stronger each day!  We hope you enjoy your honeymoon!  So many blessings! x0x0
