Ava turns O-N-E!!! And we smashed a little cake too

This sweet little girl nailed the first part of her photo-shoot with flying colors!!! I am always very mindful of babies attention spans and don’t overdue it on the first part.  Less than 5 minutes is the goal, so we can get to the really good stuff; cake smashing!! 🙂  Ava, however, would have preferred the whole photo-shoot with no cake at all.  This was actually the first time she had ever tasted cake and we aren’t really sure she was a fan because her and the cake lasted about 2 minutes, haha! And we had to beg her for the rest! AND then we had to get crafty and get my amazing husband down to keep her intrigued long enough to get some smiles, which was so successful!

Ava was a doll! She was definitely intrigued by the camera and just sat and smiled as I cooed at her and praised her.  She was a natural!  It was almost like she was ready to be a model, until that cake came out that is! haha! 🙂

Ava will be celebrating her first birthday on March 25th! Happy Birthday pretty girl! You were a pleasure! x0x0
