Julian + Karissa . Married

It was a gorgeous Friday afternoon at the Marina Shores Yacht Club.  We arrived at the venue and everything looked perfect in its place!  The sun was shining and the temperatures were more bearable than recent weddings we’ve photographed.  It has been such a hot summer! Jake got started with the guys and I started on details shots while waiting for the bride and her girls to arrive.

Once Karissa arrived, she got dressed in her gorgeous gown from David’s Bridal and she looked stunning.  Her cousin helped with her hair, which I thought was so perfect.

Julian & Karissa met in college in North Carolina and they both played soccer for the college.  They actually were friends for a long time before they decided to become a couple.  Julian serves in the Virginia Beach Police Department and Karissa will start a new job soon.

They both were super sweet and were a wonderful couple to work with.  Their bridal party was so much fun, too!

Their day was so wonderful, even despite the Karissa’s forgotten shoes!  We wish them so much love and happiness for years to come.
