Will and Morgan’s journey began in the most delightful way. They first crossed paths at church in a small group class. Their initial outing to a Tides game, which ended up being rained out, led to an unexpected but meaningful dinner together. Despite the initial awkwardness, Morgan was captivated by Will’s kindness and caring nature. Their bond grew stronger through shared experiences, including coffee dates that turned into deep conversations about their lives.

Morgan recalls, “One coffee meeting led to another, and then William asked me out!” The connection they built over time is a testament to their deep love and understanding of each other. Will, who works for Young Life, reaches out to middle and high school students in Virginia Beach, while Morgan pursues her passion as a geologist for an environmental consulting company.

The Proposal

Will’s proposal to Morgan was nothing short of magical. He planned an elaborate surprise at College Creek on the James River in Williamsburg. With a cleverly orchestrated “emergency” involving his twin brother Matthew, who pretended to be injured, Will created the perfect moment for his proposal. As Morgan walked down to the beach, she was greeted by Will on one knee, surrounded by a beautifully set-up picnic.
