The Neon House

The Neon House in Norfolk, Virginia, is a great spot to have a wedding. This was our first time photographing a wedding there & we loved meeting & talking to Marcy, one of the venue coordinators. The Neon House has an urban vibe that matched Weston & Gabby’s wedding perfectly. They could not have stumbled on a better spot for their big day.

Ashley-Adrienne Events did a great job making Weston & Gabby’s day flow so flawlessly. Her team stepped in & did a great job making everyone feel warm. Jake & I loved working with them, so glad we were able to recommend them. We worked with Ashley & her team at a wedding last year & loved them, so they are now on our preferred vendor list.

Weston + Gabby

Weston & Gabby were such a fun & easy-going couple. Jake & I loved meeting their family & friends. Weston’s son, Owen, was the cutest little ham behind the camera. He loved taking photos & then would always ask me to see them after. One of my favorite parts of the wedding day included him. Owen had a card & gift for Gabby. Weston was so excited about this, that he asked us to photograph this time. It was precious. I love Gabby’s heart for Owen.

Someone asked me on the phone the other day what is my favorite part of a wedding day. Of course, I love all the moments; especially, the moment the groom sees the bride for the first time, but one of my favorite moments of a wedding day is the speeches. 🙂 I also loved hearing who the bride & groom are through their family members. It shows me who the couples are & makes me want to know them more. This was the same at Weston & Gabby’s wedding. I loved hearing their story of how they got together & fell in love. It made me realize even more than I already saw. That these two are a perfect match for each other. You could see it all day long.
