Norfolk Virginia Wedding Alex + Amber

Harbor Club at Waterside

This Norfolk, Virginia wedding was the best! I love the city feel for weddings & this was our first time photographing a wedding at the Harbor Club at Waterside. It was such a beautiful venue that overlooked Norfolk Harbor.

The Glass Light Hotel

The girls got ready at the gorgeous Glass Light Hotel just down the street. I am not a huge hotel person. I honestly don’t love staying in them, but the Glass Light Hotel was beautiful & I told Jake I’d stay in a hotel like it. The hotel was just stunning & so clean.

Alex & Amber

Alex & Amber are the absolute perfect couple. They booked us late in the game, but these two are so easy to fall in love with. Alex’s personality is a lot like Jake’s. Super outgoing, very giving, & bright all the way around. Jake loved getting to know him & hang out with him for the day. He even mentioned how he hopes to stay in communication with him. I loved hearing everyone describe Alex at the wedding. He is the kind of guy that would give you the shirt off his back & just is pleasurable. So reminds me of Jake.

Amber is so sweet. She made sure at every part of the day that Jake & I were taken care of. I also loved hearing Amber’s bridesmaids & father describe her. She was all the queens. Aka homecoming queen & prom queen. It sounded like she was just perfect growing up.

I loved when I first met them at their engagement session because they shared how awkward they are behind the camera. I assured them they would be posing pros by the end. They sure were.

This Norfolk, Virginia wedding at the Harbor Club was so perfect. Jake & I loved being a part of every minute.
