Matt + Diana . Married 11.5.16
Matt & Diana are so precious to my heart. I have to tell you the story about them hiring us . We met them at a wedding show and immediately fell in love with them. Matt is from England and super quiet and Diana is Filipino and has her doctors degree. So, I thought she was pretty incredible! 🙂 Diana REALLY wanted to hire us as their photographer, but she is the only daughter and her mother wanted to meet us first, specifically, my Filipino husband! 🙂 So, Jake & I arranged to meet her parents at a nearby Starbucks. Her mother was intimidating to say the least. We laugh about it now. Jake was even nervous and to make him sweat is pretty hard to do. We definitely understood where Diana’s mom was coming from with her hard questions…she wanted to make sure her only daughter had the best for everything and she should have. I know one day I will be like that for our Juliet! I will say by the end of the meeting Diana’s mom did crack a couple smiles and we all sweetly hugged. I got an email from Diana letting me know that they were going to use us for their photography. I was over joyed to say the least.
Diana is one of the most organized brides I have ever seen. She handed us a 10 hour timeline with about every minute covered by something. I will say that the 10 hours didn’t feel like 10 hours and every minute was used so wisely. I will also say that Diana’s mother was completely different on the wedding day. She was laughing and having so much fun with us. At the end we were all hugging and they were telling us how glad they were for choosing us and how wonderful of a job we did. Our hearts really felt knit with theirs and it may have been my favorite wedding of 2016. Diana was such a beautiful bride and we are honored that we got to capture their beautiful day and celebrate with them.
It has been a while since we have photographed noon day bridal portraits and I am so happy with the outcome. We hope these two stay in our lives forever.
To Matt and Diana we love you guys and thank you so incredibly much for allowing us to celebrate with you guys. We loved every minute of your day! It was beautiful!
