I’ve been doing so many maternity photos lately!  Kevin and Danielle’s maternity session was the first of several.  As Virginia Wedding photographers and weddings being our main focus point it is always exciting to be able to do maternity photos.  They truly bring me so much joy.   I am not sure if it is the life the momma is carrying of the glow the momma has, but they make my heart so happy.

Kevin and Danielle are actually our wedding clients and are getting married this December 2020 and we cannot wait celebrating with them.  They are expecting their baby boy at the end of October and will have just enough time to adjust being parents and the new no sleep life before they take on the new roles as husband and wife.  And what a wonderful early Christmas present baby boy will be.

We did Kevin and Danielle’s engagement photos at First Landing State Park so it seemed fitting to do their maternity photos there too.  This time the areas we went to weren’t flooded.  It was actually a perfect time at First Landing.  Lately, the park has been so crowded, but during their session it was quiet and calm.  The sun was shining and we got some gorgeous sunset photos with that nice orange glow.

My heart was so melting watching how perfect Danielle looked as a momma to be and it was so fun catching up since I’d seen them last.  I loved hearing about all the trials of being quarantined, how Danielle’s pregnancy has been going, what she is looking forward to most, and all the other things.  As Jake was culling these images he commented how Danielle looked like she was glowing.  I definitely agreed with him.  She was glowing, as she should be.

To Kevin and Danielle, thank you for allowing me to capture another monumental moment in your lives.  It was truly a joy! I cannot wait to see photos of your perfect baby boy when he arrives.  Praying you will transition into motherhood and fatherhood smoothly and praying you would enjoy your new baby boy so much!  See you guys in December!
