Ray + Adrienne . Engaged! A Colorful Neon District Engagement
Ray + Adrienne
This colorful Neon District engagement session in Downtown Norfolk was so much fun! Technically we started at the Chrysler Museum and then made our way over to the Neon District, but I wanted show case these Ray and Adrienne’s “Dope Black Love” t-shirts up against the Art District’s wall. I just loved the vibe, the colors, and the composition.
I met these two last Thursday for a lovely evening together. As mentioned above, we started our session at the beautiful Chrysler Museum and then made our way over to the Norfolk Neon District. The temperatures were perfectly hot for a July engagement session. Adrienne brought a cool fan that laid around her neck! Amazon doesn’t fail. I need to buy one of these for those hot summer weddings. Adrienne’s mom and sister, Heather, joined us for the first part of their session. These two did perfect falling into poses. It almost came natural for the both of them.
Jake and I met these two at a wedding show last fall at the Virginia Beach Convention center. Several weeks later they came to our house to chat in person. That is pretty much our favorite way to meet potential clients…in person! Then in March they booked us for their October wedding at the Founders Inn. Ray is a guidance counselor and Adrienne works for the YMCA’s before and after school program. Ray loves running. These two have been enjoying lots of downtown during this quarantine, since the public schools haven’t been operating. Both of them are so sweet and really were a joy to work with.
To Ray and Adrienne, thank you so much for allowing me to photograph this engagement session. Thank you for the laughter, joy and some good chats as we walked (my favorite part). I so hope you love these colorful and fun engagement photos as much as I do. Jake and I cannot wait for your wedding in the fall. The weather should be so much cooler then. 🙂 Wishing you both such a wonderful next few months! With so much love!
