Andrew & Heather . Married A Virginia Beach Winter Wedding

There are so many incredible things that I can say about this absolutely adorable couple, Andrew & Heather.  The way Heather’s entire face lights up when she smiles or how kind and gentle Andrew is or how excited we were to celebrate and see these two on their day.  I love how these two love each other in some of the smallest ways.  The way Andrew adores her and you can tell his heart stops for a moment when she is in his presence.  You can just see it happening!

For us, taking awesome photos is so important, but even more than taking photos is being able to connect with couples like Andrew and Heather.  During their engagement session, I loved walking with them and just getting to hear their story about how they met (on Tinder, y’all).   I loved hearing how they fell in love and their journey that led them where they were that day.  But mostly, I loved watching Heather’s face light up with so much joy when she shared her perspective on their journey.

Not only are these two amazing, but their day turned out just as amazing.  These two were originally suppose to get married in July at our most favorite venue, The Historic Post Office.  But Heather contacted me a few months ago to let me know they had to move their wedding to February because Andrew serves in the Navy and was going to be sent out on deployment.  Despite that change their day was perfect in my opinion.  Everything went so smoothly and I am so proud of how these photos turned out considering it is full winter and everything is dead and lifeless.  Part of the praise for these photos goes out to Heather for being so incredible standing out in 30 degree temperatures.  She was a rockstar to say the least.  We so loved having their dog, Scarlett, in on the photos too! <3
