Jay + Amber . Married

In a world of big fancy weddings, Jay and Amber chose intimate and modest, and I love them for it! This one choice made such a warm and family like feeling throughout their entire wedding day!! We felt just like one of the guests and Jay & Amber went out of their way to make sure everyone felt at home, even us! 

Jay & Amber chose the Commonwealth Brewery for their venue and it could not have been more perfect.  The weather was perfect, the day was perfect, and they were dream clients for us.  Jay, a natural behind the camera, made our jobs so easy! That is such a gift for a photographer! Amber a little on the shyer side was a little more relaxed the second time around behind our cameras (first, at their engagement session).  She smiled so naturally.  I actually thought she was a different person from at the engagement session.

They didn’t go with a traditional meal, but hired a food truck that made fresh oven pizza.  It was so delicious!  Jake & I probably ate an entire box…yes, separately!!  So yummy! Everyone enjoyed fresh beer and enjoyed dancing and fellowshipping together. 

We all jumped in Jay’s pick-up truck and headed down the street to the gorgeous HK on the Bay’s property and did their bridal portraits.  We had fun laughing and teasing each other.  I loved working with these two and so did Jake! 

We can’t explain how excited we feel when our couples enjoy their day just like Jay & Amber did!  It’s one of the greatest blessings of our job!
