Ian + Kristine . Married! A Hilton Garden Inn Virginia Beach Oceanfront Wedding

This beautiful couple, Ian & Kristine, got marred just a week and a half ago at the Hilton Garden Inn on the Virginia Beach Oceanfront.  We’ve been blessed lately with some really great weddings and clients where it feels like we are part of the family and not just the photographer.  We love that.  When we can laugh and be silly with our clients, its always the best! 🙂  Ian & Kristine have become family and we’ve enjoyed getting to know them during our process together.  They’ve come to both our kids birthday parties and we got to join them at Christmas Town at Busch Gardens to watch Kristine’s best friend and cousin get engaged.  🙂

Their wedding day was perfect, despite the moment of torrential rain during bride groom portraits…we still made some beautiful images.  Kristine decided to do a “surprise” first look with Ian and this was probably my most favorite part of their day. Ian didn’t know about it, so it was a complete surprise to him when Kristine came up from behind him and grabbed his eyes.   They shared notes and then he turned around to see her and fell to the ground.  It was probably one of the sweetest moments I’ve ever witnessed at a wedding.  Ian is so passionate about Kristine and it is so evident!

These two live in Richmond for now and are hoping to move to Virginia Beach.  We can’t wait until they do this, so that we can share some time together with them.  To Ian & Kristine!  Thank you times a million for choosing us! It sincerely has been an honor to get to know you guys a little.  We are so blessed to now call you family.  We wish you all the blessings as you learn and grown together in marriage.  All of our love! <3 Jake & Jennifer
