Chuck + Nina . Engaged! A Cavalier Hotel Engagement Session
Nina contacted me for her and Chuck’s engagement session. She threw around some location ideas…Downtown Norfolk or the Beach. They both sounded great! This past Thursday I got a text from her, what about the new Virginia Beach Cavalier?! Um, yes!!! If you’re not a local then you don’t know that the beautiful historic Cavalier has recently been remodeled and is now the talk of the town. So, yes!!! We’d love to do your engagement session there. This past Sunday, I got there early to check out this gorgeous newly renovated hotel and it wasn’t short of any good adjective. Each room was stunning from the dining areas to the pool. Nina could not have suggested a more perfection location.
Our relationship with Nina sorta started a couple years ago. She was the maid of honor for one of our past brides, which is how we connected! <3 Sunday was the first day I met Chuck, such a privilege. Chuck serves in the Navy. These two have been together for 5 years and have an adorable little 3 year old boy, Charlie. A little mestizo. Despite Chucks hungry stomach this session was amazing. The weather in March in Virginia can be so unpredictable. One day it is snowing and the next it is hot. Sunday turned to be out to be extremely windy. Despite the extreme winds and a new location, I was still able to capture images that are bright and airy and beautiful images we can be proud of! The challenge was awesome! <3
Nina’s engagement ring is super special because it is an exact replica of her grandmothers! So special! <3
These two are getting married at the end of the year and we can’t wait to celebrate with them. To Chuck and Nina we hope you enjoy this gorgeous engagement session. You two rocked it…even despite the wind. Thank you Nina for wearing such gorgeous outfits and bearing the cold wind. And thank you to Chuck for enduring your growling stomach for your beautiful lady. It truly is an honor to be a part of this season of your lives.
Super kuddos to Kim Wadsworth on Nina’s Makeup!!! And to Valerie for her hair!
