Chris + Gabby . Married A Historic Post Office Wedding

CHRIS + GABBY

It was our third time being at the gorgeous Historic Post Office this year and each time our experience has been nothing short of amazing.  You can’t say that about every venue…it just seems like this one brings all the good “vibed” (yep, I made up my own word there!)  brides and all the good luck!  It’s hard to describe how much we loved Chris & Gabby’s wedding day.  It was relaxed, full of so much love and just plain fun.  Chris & Gabby’s family and friends were the best kind of fun.  They let loose and celebrated with these two with all their hearts.  You really cannot ask for more.  If we could give Gabby an award, which we totally would, because we talked about it on the way home, it would be for most relaxed, calm and sweetest bride ever.  Okay that is three awards.  She was peaceful and relaxed from the moment we arrived until the moment we left.  Right when I entered the bridal suite I felt her excitement to see me all the way across the room as her face lit up with joy like we were old friends.  Truly to be her friend would be a great gift, especially after seeing how her and her friends carry such a tight bond.  I know just knowing her adds value to my life! <3

One of my favorite parts of our pre-ceremony time together was when Grandma and all Gabby’s family and friends gathered around her to pray.  How special it was!!!  It is not very often this happens, so when it does, it makes my heart so very happy.  Later as I chatted with Ms. Alice, Gabby’s  mom,  she shared how important Gabby’s faith was to her.

Fast forward to the ceremony time.  The minute Chris came out his face was full of tears as he waited in anticipation for his bride and then when he saw her even more tears flooded his face.  The ceremony was in the First United Methodist church that sits right next to the Historic Post Office.

Not only was the ceremony beautiful, but the reception was so much fun.  Everyone cut loose and had such a great time.  We have the photos to prove it! We love it when families and friends party hard because it gives us great dance photos and makes the wedding so much more fun! Thank you guys for cutting loose!

Gabby foun us almost two years ago by viewing one of her friend’s weddings on Facebook that we photographed.  We chatted on the phone and instantly hit it off.  That was back when I barely ever took phone calls because of my crazy hate for the phone! Ha! Now I am a pro!  I am so very glad to have crossed paths with Chris & Gabby and consider it such an honor to have been a part of this gorgeous couples wedding.  These two are so perfect for each other and we wish them such a beautiful life together and look forward to watching their beautiful journey together unfold.

We’d also like to give a shoutout to such an incredible vendor team.  Shelby, with Shelby White Events,  your team was stellar.  To our dear friends Heather and Derrick with Jamison Media it is always so great to work along side of you two because I know you’ll put up with my bossy self.  Just kidding!  And  Jeff from Colonial DJ’s we always love seeing your friendly face.  And of course to the Historic Post Office, thank you for making our vendor experience so good every time! <3  Shoutout to the rest of the vendors below.

Enjoy our favorite images from their gorgeous day!
