Justin + Ashley . Engaged! A Norfolk Botanical Gardens Engagement

This past Sunday I met Justin & Ashley at the beautiful Botanical Gardens in Norfolk, VA for their engagement session.  They could not have chosen a better location for their engagement session.  The roses and gardens were popping and so beautiful, but not as beautiful as Ashley.  She looked stunning. Her makeup was perfectly done and her eyes and smile were so gorgeous.  She was totally ready for their session.   I spent a little time getting to know Justin because it was the first time we had met.  Secretly,  I am always a little nervous the first few moments of an engagement session.  After about 5-10 minutes I am warmed up and so was Justin.  He is a pretty awesome guy.  He works in the plumbing world and loves fishing.  Him and Ashley spent the weekend before that doing just that.  🙂  We’ve been wanting to take our kids fishing, so it was so fun talking to him about the fishing world.

The weather on Sunday was so perfect.  Cool.  Sunny.  Perfect!  Their session was rescheduled from a few weeks ago when we got rained out, so we were so glad for this beautiful weather.  Let me tell you….Ashley was a perfect model behind the camera.  She definitely knew what she was doing.  I teased her a little and asked her if she did model, but she hasn’t.  Shocker to me! 🙂 This couple is so sweet and I had such a wonderful time hanging out with them on Sunday!  Cannot wait for their 2018 wedding.  🙂
