What an absolute fairy tale wedding this past Saturday at the Westin in the Town Center of Virginia Beach. And of all the dates John & Jinsy could choose they chose the most popular date ever to get married. Supposedly, the knot said it was! 8.18.18! And I really believe it is true because we turned down at least 10 other weddings for that date. John & Jinsy’s day was perfect magic and we are so thankful we got to be a part of it.
I arrived at the Westin Saturday morning and Mary, one of Jinsy’s bridesmaids, greeted me down in the lobby. Mary is, by now, an old friend. I teased her on the way up that she was the most popular bridesmaid. She’s been in so many weddings. It is her turn next!!
I arrived in the bridal suite and was so excited to see some of our favorite videographers, Eric Rodriguez with EJORMEDIA and then I was greeted by the most gorgeous bride, Jinsy! Her makeup and hair were absolutely flawless. Her dress was up on a mannequin stand and looked ravishing. I got fastly to work on the detail photos. The morning went so smooth. We laughed together and had so much fun doing all the pre-ceremony things.
Now it was time to head to the ceremony, so we all jumped in our cars and headed over to the Holy Spirit Church in Virginia Beach. The ceremony was the perfect traditional Filipino Catholic Mass. John was all smiles as his bride came down the aisle. I loved watching the two flower girls play and have fun in the pews.
After the ceremony we headed back to the Westin and started on formal photos. We were so blessed the rain didn’t come as predicted. But the winds were so crazy through town center. We had to work hard to find places where the winds were tolerable. John & Jinsy were so patient as we did that. (Thank you so much guys! 😉 Told you it would be worth it in the end. Thank you for trusting me!)
One of my most favorite parts of the day besides from getting to hang out with these guys, was the reception and the bride groom first dance. These two rocked out a gorgeous choreographed dance. It was a amazing seeing them float around the dance floor. I also loved watching John’s dance with his mom!! Watching tears flow down her face made be look into the future to how my dance with Jenson, our son, might be! <3
The whole day was perfect and it was so fun to be a part of such a long time coming wedding. To John & Jinsy, thank you so much for having us be a part. We love you both and hope that you will stay in touch! <3 Wishing you the very best life together! <3 J&J
