Jason + Amanda . Engaged! A First Landing Engagement!
I’ve known sweet Amanda for some years now. Her parents and my parents became friends through a mutual friend and every year her wonderful mom throws the best Christmas party. I seriously look forward to attending every year. I have attended this Christmas party from single-hood to now two kids and its always a blast. Amanda…every time Amanda has entered the Christmas party whether she was strolling from her room or coming from her own apartment she has the most gorgeous smile on her face. She literally lights up the room with so much joy. She reminds me of the happy emoji in the new emoji movie…I can’t believe I just referenced that movie (mom life!) But seriously, her smile is contagious and so are her greetings. She contacted me a month or so ago and told me she was engaged! 🙂 I was so happy and glad for her. She really deserves this amazing guy.
I met Jason at their engagement session at First Landing State Park for the first time….well, I guess I met him at the Christmas party, but neither him or I remembered, but Amanda says so. Jason is so sweet and kind. For the first 10 minutes the three of us walked and I asked them a question I have never asked any of our couple. I don’t even know what prompted me to do so, but I am glad I did. I asked Jason why he was in love with Amanda! His response made my heart stop. He talked about her smile and her wonderful personality. It was so nice to hear him share the things he loved about her. Don’t worry, Amanda didn’t get off that easy. I asked her why she was in love with, too. I was in aw at both their responses and instantly knew these two were made for each other.
A little secret, Jason was a little nervous at the beginning of their session and by the end he was a total rockstar! 🙂 Wishing this amazing and sweet couple a very blessed engagement. We are so honored to be able to photograph their wedding in June! 🙂 We can’t wait!

My son Jason has met a lovely lady. She is a very COMPASSIONATE women, who has such a fantastic sense of humor. She is very giving, a wonderful thoughtful joy to be around. Jas and Amanda have brought out the BEST in each other. They have strengtened one another through sich tremendous loss in each of their families. I am so blessed to know that my son, will ALWAYS have a Classey lady who has his back. He is marrying into a family that have encouraged his heart to be with their only, precious daughter, Amanda. I am PROUD that my Son, will have another family to set such a great example, that Marriage is a life long COMMITTMENT. Wishing that our God Almighty will bless this union FOREVER. CONGRADULATIONS that God will be in the CENTER of your relationship. ENJOY every precious moment. May this marriage be everything that life has to offer. Take care of each other. Remember to ALWAYS forgive, and comfort one another , thr all lifes difficults. The BEST is yet to come. I am thrilled for this Sacred UNION. I love you both, with my heart and soul.
