It was our first time in Connecticut and the drive that Saturday was so wonderful. The skies were a perfect blue and hanging with my hubby for 8 hours is always my favorite. We arrived in gorgeous Connecticut and it was much colder than we expected…20 degrees less than Virginia. It actually felt like a true fall day, the ones we barely get in Virginia.
On Sunday, the wedding day, we pulled up to the gorgeous Candlelight Farms and was greeted by our wonderful neighbor’s son, Eli. With a big smile on his face he quickly showed us where to go. The minute I saw Daysa my heart gasped. She is the sweetest most beautiful girl both inside and out and she looked absolutely stunning. Gorgeous!!! The perfect bride!! After we spent some time chatting with her we headed over to the groomsmen suite. The moment Giuseppe caught our eyes he ran over to give us a big hug. We felt like old friends. 🙂
There are two things that were really my favorite parts of their wedding. It was during Giuseppe and Daysa’s “no first look.” They shared a prayer together! Daysa’s face was flooded with tears. It was so beautiful. And my other favorite memory from their wedding was when Giuseppe said his vows. I am not sure if there was a dry eye at the entire ceremony. Even I had to catch my breath. I even looked back to see Jake’s eyes filled with tears.
Giuseppe and Daysa did such an amazing job of blending their two cultures together. Daysa, Spanish, and Giuseppe, Italian created a wedding that we will never forget. From the Italian and Spanish foods to the Spanish singing and the Italian dancing, it was so fun!
What an honor it was to be a part of Giuseppe and Daysa’s wedding in gorgeous Connecticut. These two are now enjoying Hawaii and living it up. I am loving following all their adventures on Instagram and seeing the start of their beautiful story! Wishing these two a wonderful rest of their honeymoon and so many congratulations. Thank you so very much for allowing us the honor of being a part of your very special day! All our love! – J&J <3
